Picturesofplaces.co.uk was established in 2005 by Photojournalist Ian Robinson, who has been specialising in Travel Photography since 1990.
Working for Tour Operators and supplying pictures for the travel sections of the national press, book and magazine publishers, we are aware of the needs of the travel trade and travel press, as well as other sections such as business or ecology. This website was the obvious next step for an expanding stock library and the move to digital photography.
We have made the site as basic as possible for quick and easy access to images.We will continue to expand the coverage of the library while being receptive to any wants lists provided by picture buyers. If you are having difficulties sourcing pictures from any area of the world, we will make it our business to provide them. Let us know what you want and we will do our very best to get it for you. Alternatively, if your needs are very specific, we welcome commissions to shoot to your exact requirements, on film or digitally.
